Ice Chapel Wedding Package

Covered by a thick snowy blanket in winter, the beautiful Ice Chapel, located just 30 minutes from Rovaniemi. The venue is part of a larger resort made entirely of snow and ice. This unique complex includes 30 rooms in the Snow Hotel, an Ice Bar, an Ice Restaurant, saunas, and glass igloos for accommodation. Every year, in early December, the building process begins anew, and the venue is transformed into something entirely different.

Wedding bookings are available from around the 15th of December when the venue opens to the public. We promise you a truly one-of-a-kind wedding experience. The Ice Chapel features a long aisle and seating for approximately 40 guests. The temperature in the Chapel is typically between -2ºC and -5ºC, so be sure to dress warmly for the ceremony. The Chapel will be reserved exclusively for your ceremony, though other guests will be present on the Snow Hotel grounds and in the Ice Bar at the same time.

  • This venue is accessible for individuals with mobility challenges. The car can stop at the entrance of the Snow Hotel, however there is about 100m walk across the snowy surface to the chapel.
